What sealant should I use between the turbo housing and the exhaust manifold?
The green book calls for a "hi temp" sealant. Duh. But at the typical autoparts store the hi temp sealant's rated temps are around 700F. Thanks in advance for any help.

I just use a metal T-3 exhaust gasket. No sealer needed.

ive seen rotary guys "very hot running engines" actually use the copper-infused insta-gasket for the exhaust manifold...
I thought for sure it was going to catch on fire... but surprisingly it held until he pulled the manifold months later. go figure =) |
