I think the problem with oil filter mount was caused by the complete engine sitting on the ground leaning on the oil filter, I pulled this broken one from a parts motor that's been tossed around for 6 years or so.
All I can say is those oil pumps sure can push some volume! I have about $2600 into the rebuild, that includes all machine work, parts, gaskets, arp studs, injectors and glow plugs. That does not include the hours that I put into assembling it.
