Default 93-95 D24TIC Lubrication problems

For 13 years drive and repair D24 and D24T manifactured 85-92. Never seen a single problem with camshaft (except timing belt failure). Now i have 3 engines with hydrolic tapets(or whatever it is in english) that have damaged camshafts (From minor to complite, especially vacume pump cam). All of them seemed to be caused by lack of lubrication. Can anyone comment? Is there any solution? Or shoud i forget the new generation D24TIC and stay to the brutal old ones?

230000 miles (370000km) is good, the running in is done, you can now step on it a bit more
Atleast i could say that with goodold d24t. Mine 95 TIC has 450k/km, i thought i change turbo and show goes on, but turbo was not the reason, it was aftermath... Why the vacum pump cam faild first?
