Call me at the shop (Archway, our details are in the parts suppliers section). The number is 314-638-7700. We can get German pistons in std, 1st and 2nd oversize.

When I talked to you today I was mistaken on the oversize dimensions. 1st oversize is .5 mm and 2nd oversize is 1mm. I can get either, they are still 119 a piece. With 1mm overbore you should sure as hell be able to get the bores cleaned up. If by chance the oil squirter pockets are in the wrong location, I can still get the non turbo pistons without the pocket so you can machine them in yourself. Same price, and they are all German Kolbenschmidt with the pin, rings and clips.

Great. I still need to get a visual on my Caddy engine with the pan off though so I can order correctly. Just popped into the VW forum. Take a look at this post from a guy who is building his 1.6 http://www.vwdiesel.net/forum/index.php?topic=18348.0
My piston looks like his piston. The squirter notch and the rod orientation are the same.

The pictures of the pistons on their website look like that as well, with the squirter notch being oriented by the piston pin. I think the difference between pistons for the engines is a old wives tale.. If it was my engine I would be ordering the pistons we have anyway.

If you want us to get them, give me a call.
