No you dont have the wrong arm. Its the same arm as I have. Its the bearing which is slightly different.

I'm using cable. Thanks for the pic, it doesn't show much on the throw out bearing. I guess I just need to cut those little ears off there.

Well the other thing I found is the part number. On the Volvo documentation it shows 3549391 with (1220949) beside it. Perhaps you can compare this to the one you have.
I have the entire parts list which goes with that drawing which I agree is not helpful where that bearing is concerned.
