EGR block off plates?
In order to clean things up on my engine I'm considering fabricating a block-off plate for the EGR valve at the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold. Any risk in doing this? The photo shows the intake part slightly out its regular position, I just placed it there to be in the photo.

No problem with doing it, but equally effective to just disconnect the control system, with the valve in place but disconnected it's as good as having plates blocking it off.

Great, another good idea. Plus I have to deal with getting the vehicle smogged and it will appear to be functioning!
