Proven D24TIC power record!!!!!!
Okay, i think we have here record from d24tic:
187kW, which is 254 horsepowers! Theres no torque-numbers since on that powerbench hasnt option to take out RPM's from diesel-engines. By calculating max. newtons are something about +400nm's. Recipe was Holset HX35+ 12mm distributor head+ some minor tricks. Oh, almost forgotted. Also, Jason, M90 |

Definently some solid power, however I've had this video in the vid section for some time... This car made 260hp/420NM.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWWsj...eature=related It has GT35 and 12mm pump from what I read on different youtube posts. Jason

I know that one too. From Finland aswell
That's why i said proven fact, theres an copy of benchrun paper, haven't seen prove about that one you linked, anywhere. Those high-power d24tic's just have very narrow power-area, and lousy amount of torque. Definitetly would need some nice VNT/ compound-setup.. |

Ya no dyno sheet, but it did sound pretty strong.. There was another vid on there of a car that supposadly made 213hp/443NM. Pretty good torque there. Hopefully I'll have some dyno numbers soon, I think the local dyno place will be having a dyno day coming up. You can do a couple pulls for a cheaper price. I would really like to know what a fresh D24T with a maxed out injection pump can make to the ground.

Hello!
The first dyno paper in this thread is from my car After that i have installed an electric fuel pump, and made some adjustments to the IP. The new result is 196,2kw (267hp). Didn't get the torq this time either because we couldn't get the rpm signal to the computer. I calculated the rpm based on the gear ratio and the speed on the dyno. Then calculated the torq using the rpm and horsepower, and got about 420+nm. Engine specs: -d24tic -ported cylinder head (by me) -3" exhaust -aluminium intercooler, 450x300mm -holset hx35, with 12# turbine housing, 60mm turbine wheel, 54mm compressor wheel. Original exhaust manifold with a wall welded between the two sections. -30psi boost -pump built by PP-diesel, a finnish diesel tuning shop. don't know much about it, except that it has a 12mm rotor, made in china. They don't use the china made rotors anymore, just original bosch parts. The guy from PP-diesel said you can get a lot more power with original bosch rotors. Planning to see if that's true The car is a daily driver for me, so i'm trying to keep things simple and hope i don't brake it. |

OK and assuming you haven't break it despite your 3 years hiatos, are you still pulling strong? Any news or upgrades? |
