Default Clutch fork

Supposedly there is a new clutch in my car (within a couple of thousand miles) but it judders badly on release and then there is this bodge on the clutch fork 😬
Anyone manage a guess and what’s wrong? I’m thinking it’s the wrong clutch kit or at least release bearing, but that bodge will destroy the slave cylinder at some point.
Anyone got the clutch and fork part numbers for a 91 tdic with a m46 with overdrive?
