Default Repair fuel leaking pin

replacement kit BOSCH costs 12 €, you can ask in any shop bosch spare for VE pump

disconnect all the tubes that reach the top of the pump and remove the 4 allen screws holding the pump, important not to pull it yet, behind the round part , close to the firewall is there to remove the screw, squueze it under the pump

already have the pump outside, better cover the open area in the car and go to work at a desk, comfortable chair and reading lamp.

start removing the cap with an Allen wrench, the screws are very strong so tap it and unlock oil

these are the screws that cost me more, and was beginning to break them when and gone to a gagrage to call for help, he got a screw driver, hammer and wrench to the screw hitting and turning the wrench at the same time , and voila, there are two screws to release to remove the black ramp of the inner zone.

when you remove the screws there is a bolt to be drawn with hammer quietly, but do not remove it entirely, only to release the ramp and we can get. Bolt projection is above and beyond the ramp (do the whole picture and be mindful of the positions of the parts)

for this access (allen cap above) we take carefully with tweezers the rod. and then the aluminum threaded washer, unscrew

This is the rod.

and here the entire source of our problems this plastic washer, which embraces the rod behind the washer screw, is removed along with a bent clip.

once removed, look for in our spare one of equal size but green, put it on the rod, and screw the washer.
For all the washers there are spares, go the reverse order replacing the old for new.
the rod is recommended to lubricate the area and that the bolt does not remain stuck, then you will have to move.
Here some schemes pump operation


to place the pump when need to press a ramp with a pin inside the pump that is a bolt outside, then we must put pressure so that this gate can be placed well. , after that there will either put the idle with the screw coming out of the pump handle is attached to the accelerator.
