EGT temps are the limiting factor, ran 800°C on the dyno run. Ive figured another trick out with my VNT Controller, now on a hard pull they dont go above 600, thats still with the stock cooler. So im thinking that a fair bit more power is possible, i think realistically it needs cams and a fair bit of headwork to crack 300 efficiently. For those who follow the power builds, tommi in finland managed 321 and 400 odd nm with his 7k rpm om603 pump hx52 engine... mad man he is...but i think it makes boost at around 5 k rpm. I know, it's in my watch list at the moment.
I haven't the time, space or money at the moment. Still makes sound sense though, right? 320k... It'll likely have almost zero compression, that'd explain the poor starting.
