Yes the MLS gasket means multi layer steel, which is the metal one. Your going to need a few tools like cam counter hold, the cam lock tool, a 27mm socket for the crank bolt, and a crank counter hold to be able to tighten the crank bolt again. You can get away without the belt tensioner, just install it again with the same amount of deflection. Make sure you replace the water pump while your in there.
