Nicely done. The amount of work these wagons can do is amazing considering how they are still nice, refined cars to drive.

Your car's color and trim are very interesting, definitely not a combination we got here in the US. I think that non-metallic blue color (or one close to it) was available here on 1985 740 GLE models but don't believe it was available here after that, at least not on the 700 series. Seems like maybe they did offer it on some 86 and 87 240 series in our market but I don't think even those cars had it here in 1988, the year of your car.

Your wagon also has the all-black door rub strips and window trim that we only got here on the 740 Turbo models, which to my knowledge never had this particular blue color available. So the entire combination as a whole looks quite unusual to our eyes.

All the Turbo Diesel 700 series models that were sold here had "GLE" trim with chrome door and window accents. Did your TD wagon come stock with the blackout trim too? Or did you swap that on with the turbo wheels?
