Don't sweat it man. I am going to check the valve clearances this week. I've tested my injectors and they are pretty dang close to each other in when they pop. When I get enough moneys I will get new glow plugs as well. This engine probably has 160k by now. I plucked it out of the yard with 140k. I probably need to give it a little more fuel though. In the warmer temps she starts right up fine. but I think I may have a tight valve in her. And to top it off, once this motor looses its life, I will just rebuild it. I've also got another D24T with just a mere 105k on it to run in the meantime. but I am sure I've got years left in this motor that I daily drive. And yes, I warm her up before I roll.
