i will try to measure it by the way you say, by rolling motor and measure on the slack side.
About dampener bolts, i think i read that they are 'torque to yield', and then not reusable...are they? I have a new set of them but i don't know the correct torque for those bolts...
They are not as critical as the big bolt for sure, but they play an important role by helping to keep the big bolt where it should be...
