It's December again and we are due to pay for another year of $100 web hosting for the forum.
It goes without saying that this has been challenging year for many, so spare funds may be harder to free up. That is understood and I will not be surprised or concerned if we don't hit the goal this year. If that's the case we can always make up the balance during better times.
On the other hand, every year we have new members who join and gain a great deal of helpful advice from experienced members -- often resulting in large savings on repairs or avoided problems as a result. This year has been no exception, even as the pandemic has turned all aspects of life upside down.
If you are one of those new members who has been able to get a lot of benefit from folks' help on here, giving a few bucks is one of the ways you can return the favor and pay it forward at the same time. Your support will help preserve this as a place where someone else in the future might be helped in the same way you were.
Those who donate will have their user title changed to identify them as a Supporting Member.
Even small donation amounts still get us closer to the goal. Most donations are between $5 and $25. Progress will be tracked with updates in this thread.
As always, the most important contribution you can make is your time and knowledge in discussions on the board, helping other members and growing the information archive. So for those who choose to make their main, or only, contribution that way, you are supporting us as well.
