I see, so if i open the solenoid and remove the plunger before driving through the emp blast, the engine won’t drown? The solenoid is just a cutoff?

After an emp bomb fries all the electric components in an old Volvo 740 diesel, will the d24 engine be capable of still running? The 12V battery will survive...
