Source for D24 radiator hoses?

I have a 1982 245 Diesel (non-turbo) wagon. I'll be replacing the radiator and heater hoses soon, and was wondering if pre-formed hose kits were available.

I've found many for the 240 gas cars, but not diesels.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Mackay makes good ones. Sometimes you'll see URO brand hoses for sale too, but they're of questionable quality.

FCP is generally a good source for D24 parts, and has the hoses here:

With these Mackay hoses (both on D24s and D24Ts), I've found the large (engine-side) end is usually quite tight, and needs to be warmed up a bit with a heat gun before it will readily slide on. You might be able to get away with a hair dryer or some boiling water if you don't have one. Use soapy water too. They sometimes fight if you don't do these things, but go on easy if you do.

Be sure to put in a thermostat when you do this too, since you'll be near it anyway. Stock temp is 87C but I think there are benefits to the 80C stat, especially in a warm area like where you live. Seems like they do a better job keeping the engine cool for long hill climbs.

www.volvopartslisle.com shows both of those hoses available from Volvo, but you want to verify by phone before depending on that. Sometimes things are still listed that are NLA.
