That'd be it then I'll try inserting it into the lower hose instead...

Having the "generator" up there is so much smarter than what we got on our cars here in the usa.

Where did they put the alternator/generator on the US cars?

Below the alternator is the power steering pump, and below that the A/C... not sure there's room anywhere else!

Default Alternator is on the passenger side here in the US

And it is closer to the ground (&water)
