I just removed one of what's left of a window today. After you pull the trim off they will need to be removed with one of those steel cable deals you use to cut a windshield out I expect. They are glued in. I found a decent deal on new tail lights so I ordered them already.

Doesn't sound too bad. There's a mobile glass guy I have used here before who does a good job. I need him to come over and put a windshield in my old beater Jetta TDI anyway so maybe can see if he could get those out at that time too, unless you find something quicker.
