744 sedan ER fuel tank
Adds an extra 20 liters capacity, and ties in to factory filler. All in great condition except maybe the trunk carpet. You move a screw in the back of the dash to another hole to adjust your gauge.
Will not fit wagon. Thinking $200? I might trade for something that has gears, goes boom, or lights people on fire. Or computer hardware to bring my system up to only a few years out of date. Freedom, California 95019 Looks like a real pain to ship. |

These are a pretty neat setup, have one in my '83 764 and it allows almost 700 miles cruising. Second tank does block the rear seat pass-through so if you like hauling skis or lumber that is a downside, but the extra capacity is nice. Only other caveat I have experienced - this does add some weight, too, when it is full; long-distance travel with a full load of fuel, full trunk of stuff, and people in the back seat is more than the stock sedan springs are happy handling so if you plan for this kind of use, Nivomats or HD coils or stock wagon springs are worth thinking about as well...
