Ah now guys this is interesting I have just bought all the bits to convert my D24T to a D24TIC now my qeustion is do you recommend I use the N/A manifold which seems the consensus here if I am looking for extra ponies or stick with the correct D24T manifold bearing in mind this is for a VW LT truck

I think its just easier to arrange the intercooler hoses with the N/A intake than with the D24T intake. If you have the TIC intake you are ahead of the game.
The D24TIC engine was never imported into this country so bits are very rare compared to other D24 engines and they are rare enough too.
I have a D24T engine in a car that already has an intercooler installed from a gas engine. Its just sitting there in front of the rad.
I dont have the parts to make it a TIC so I probably wont mess with that mod. I have to fix the tranny first !!
