IP differences - Automatic/Manual transmission

Hello guys.

Annyone know the difference between the pumps for D24TIC? The one for manual transmission is labeled "TIC 2" and for automatic transmission "TIC2-1". Is the only difference in something about the throttle links, or is it an internal difference?

I've read on an other forum that the pumps for VW automatic transmission vehicles usually have a larger pump-element. But in this case, the Bosch number say that theyre both 10mm.

Manual transmission pump: VE6/10F2400L116 (Bosch 0 460 406 018)
Auto-transmission pump: VE6/10F2400L116-6 (Bosch 0 460 406 054)

What could the difference be? Fuel quantity? Pump "behaviour"?

The main difference I can think of is the Auto-transmission pump has an emergency fuel shutoff manual lever on the side, to be used in a runaway situation where the auto trans will not let you kill the engine by simply dumping the clutch in top gear.

Oh! I found the shutoff-lever at the side of the pump, by the waxstat / cold-start lever :-)
